Yesterday was quite a long day. We spent 4 hours at the allergist's office and found out I am allergic to carboplatin. So some time next week I will be desensitized to it so I can stay on my same regime. They will do it in ICU overnight. Then I had MD and blood draw visits and finally a CT scan which made me SICK. It was the contrast material that I had to swollow on an empty stomach that did it. So here I am after a wretched night (word chosen) and after zofran and compazine for the nausea, not to mention the headache that has followed me all night...thank you tylenol extra strength. I have to go...I have to get into bed...talk again soon...egads...
