Merry Xmas to you all, i am horizontal

1 minute read time.
Just want to wish you all a very happy christmas, I hope you make lots of nice memories with your friends and family, I have last tues finished with my recovery course and was real impressed with how well i did building myself up, and i had a real positive evaluation at the end, they said i had made the most progress in the group. Unfortunatley on wed i was picking up a sock and my back went, since i have been in agony can only lie and walk no sitting today was the 3rd physio appointment and i still must lie flat. Yesterday it was so painful and i was so weapy i rang the doctor who came out to see me he has put me on other muscle relaxants and also gave me anti depressants, which i am so disappointed in, but i am going downhill fast, and he said full of tension which is not helping i am gutted that this year has been so hard with the lung op and chemo, and the recovery and now this just on top of xmas to knock me off my feet. And i think a little knock like this is a major blow as i am vunerable after a tough year. Oh well enough of my moaning going to be havento have dinner in bed on xmas day which will be a first but hopefully the pills will kick in and i can enjoy henks family round on boxing day. Thanks for all your support this year and i wish you and yours a happy and healthier 2009 love caz

Poor Caz - what a horrid thing to happen just before Christmas.  But as you say yourself, after everything you've been through this year, this really is 'a little knock' - if you can beat cancer, you can certainly deal with a bad back!!!  I do hope the pills kick in soon, and that you're not in too miuch pain over Christmas.  You really can look back over this year and be proud of yourself - you've done brilliantly.  You may be vulnerable, but you've proved you can overcome setbacks like this.

Enjoy your Christmas in bed - and I hope you have a wonderful day with Henk's family on Boxing Day.

And a very happy and healthy New Year to you too.

    Much love

I am soooo sorry for you :o( Try not to be too downhearted, think of how wonderful it is to be cancer free, I am sure the worst is over - give your back another couple of days and the muscles may unclench and you might get a bit of movement back. Sending you the biggest xmas HUG ever, Love Jools xxxxxx

    Aw poor Caz,

well think of it as out like a lion and in like a lamb. Our bodies are such a let down, just when you think you are doing well it slaps you in the face. But dont let that put you off, just listen to it and take it easy. Pamper yourself a bit.

Anti depressant's and wine should help  put a smile on your face

    Lots of love and ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))
