I went back to the hospital today and saw the consultant. He was very good and was able to answer my questions, he also checked all of my moles and fortunately they were all fine. I don't need to have any further surgery either which is great. I left there feeling positive for the first time since being diagnosed with melanoma in March - what a difference it makes seeing a doctor who actually knows what they are doing! (Nothing was mentioned about my disasterous appointment 2 weeks ago!) I am going back to have photos of all of my moles taken on Wednesday, the poor photographer's face was a picture when I told her I probably had around 200 of the things!!! After that, providing all is well, I won't need to go back until November. Thanks to everyone for your support and advice xxx
It really does feel so much better to be under the care of someone you trust, doesn't it? And I'm glad you're feeling more reassured! Sounds like your photos are going to be a lot more detailed than mine were, even so I wouldn't want them getting into the wrong hands and ending up on the internet ;-)
