feeling better

Less than one minute read time.

thank you all for your support. i am now past surgery. a bit in pain and struggling to lift my head - the drain is on top of the scar this time - probably why. not finding the night staff very nice here - doncaster - had to wait for 40 minutes for pain killers 'cos you're not the only one in pain love' and i get frustrated because my voice is so low that nobody can hear me. hoping to go home tomorrow. started fast acting thyroxin whatever this is and my calcium s fine. love to you all. lauren

    Lauren,

Glad to hear the surgery went well, drains are a pain eh.  I had one coming out of the top of my head, was a bugger trying to wash or use the loo with a big bottle in your hand LOL

Sorry the staff are not as caring as other hospitals and hope you get home really soon.

    Love & Strength

Great to hear you're on the road to recovery Lauren I think staff tend to be most stretched at night, I know when I was in hosp at the start of my treatment when I was still relativly fit I ended up doing a bitov nursing with the immobile patients at night. No excuse for sarcastic comments tho you can do without that when youre so vulnerable. A very speedy recovery to you, love, Karen xox
