So today - on International Woman's Day, I finished my 5 rounds of radiotherapy. It's been a breeze compared to surgery and chemo. I've felt a few twinges in my boob and it's felt tender but so far all is good. The staff did say today, that the next two weeks may see it gets worse before it gets better so to just keep an eye on it.
Ive sat looking at the bell every day and wasn't really bothered about ringing it, but the staff were so encouraging that I decided to do it.I'm so glad I did, it was quite symbolic and marked the end of a significant phase in my life.
Im now 4 weeks post chemo.I'm still feeling tired but my energy levels are improving each day.
Now to look forward to a holiday.
