My cancer is HER2+ so there is a drug called Herceptin that is given to breast cancer patients (& some stomach cancers) that suppress this cancer from reproducing.
Its give via an injection into the thigh every three weeks and I'll continue with them until December.
I had my third Herceptin injection on Wednesday alongside the paclitaxel and I've really suffered since. I've had trouble sleeping, last night I was shivery one minute and red hot the next. My temperature has been raised and I've just felt very lethargic and lacking in energy.
Im hoping that continued injections feel better as I'm going to struggle to do my job feeling like this.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
