Daily garden photos over recent December weeks have caught festive Christmas colours, which just brighten the mood. What might look like a dull garden outlook on a grey day can still produce delights when you look more closely.
First it was the red berries of the skimmia bush beside the marvellous red branches of the dogwood.

And after the red of the plants, I then captured two stunning red sunrise skies, a different tone of red, but nonetheless awesome. The winter tree silhouettes are a deep dose of morning beauty in cold crisp air. Set the tone for your day with nature, whether your view is overlooking trees or buildings, the sky will always deliver something wonderful, especially those morning or evening reds.
