Green is a predominant colour of any garden, but here I have focussed on greens which represent colours and textures that add to the garden's diversity, from the bright green spongy moss (that makes up most of the lawn), to the glossy green of laurel bushes. As I count off the chemo days and weeks, the greens remind me that they have been there throughout the days and months of hot summer through the wet and cold of autumn into winter. The tenacity of the moss can sometimes by annoying, but its soft and springy feel will be a delight for my feet in the warmer weather!
