Not so bad this time round! Take heart...

Less than one minute read time.

Its now day 7 after my 5th chemo (Docetaxel) and i am so encouraged its better than the last one where I literally wanted to die!

The limb pain is there but being numbed by painkillers, the mouth is just starting to get sore, and the numbness in my toes isnt scary once you know it wont last.  feeling down is still a bugger because trying to hang onto perspective is hard!

Also if one more person says 'hey you look fantastic, so well' when I feel so poorly and its just the makeup I will crumple and cry.  Nice thought but doent help.

I think the worse thing is this disgusting taste that i cant get rid of - any ideas anyone?

thats where we are up to!  thanks for reading x

    Hey Carol

I dont think my toes have been warm for a week now!  it seems that although the pain isnt tear jerking its around for longer which is not nice :(

mints dont work for me but sherbet lemons do although i dread to even consider my teeth in all this.  i think the nastiest thing is that water tastes really horrible - its day old cola for me or hot choc.

    hanging in xxx
