The Comprehensive Spending Review announced last week by the Chancellor, George Osborne, attracted a huge amount of attention and press coverage amid talk of the largest cut to Government spending in decades.
The cuts were indeed significant, £81 billion in total. But what does it all mean for people affected by cancer?
Macmillan has put together a summary of the key announcements that could affect you, on issues such as cancer care, disability benefits and access to treatments. You can also find out more about the work we’re doing in these areas to ensure - as far as possible - people affected by cancer are protected.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
