Spam, Broth and being Off Piste
I was so delighted to see that some people are reading this blog and then I noticed a particularly slimy bit of spam.
This raises the question of whether broth and custard attracts spam?
But thanks to genuine replies - they are much appreciated.
The broth is going down well and the husband had almost ten hours of reasonably comfortable sleep last night - the best for a while. There is a lot to be said for that old- fashioned invalid food, apparently.
The house is now filled with the calming, gentle snores of very tired dogs. Happy and stiff dogs - their walk today involved an unexpected and exciting excursion across some very rough terrain. I had completely forgotten where I had parked the car and we found ourselves very much off the beaten track.
And now it is off to bed with the 'teach yourself' Italian on the ipod. I never seem to get much further than the the verb 'to want.' I drift off, murmering in my head, 'volio', 'volio', 'vorrei ...'
