Great news Rose.  No guilt, you are just a better candidate for the trial.  There are all kinds of pre-requirements for trial, can be all kinds of things, even as simple as you've had another cancer before.  Unless they tell you, you won't know what allows you to be selected and another not.  Trials are strict in order to control results for future treatment.  Once they get through that, then they can open it up to others.  So its not personal for you or for the other candidate, so no need to feel guilty.  He/She may get on another trial that you would qualify for.  So carry on and sounds like things are moving along and for that I'm truly grateful!  Best, Lori

    Hi Rose,

Thanks for updating all of us here, a lot of folks were about to turn blue holding their breath for your news.  I'm  so pleased things are moving forward for you I'm about to celebrate with a cuppa and a whole pack of Jammie Dodger bykkees.  Two things come to mind though.  Firstly both my Ma and Pa in law had cancers and both got fantastic treatment at Northwick Park Hopsital.  Ma was initially given 6 months or so but took part in a trial and 14 years later was still giving me a hard time.  Secondly, now that you are taking part in a trail I guess that gets you out of the 'normal treatment loop'.  They need the info that you and your treatment is going to supply so you can probably look forward to being messed about less.  At least I do hope so anyway.

Best of luck with all this matey,  Mike
