Well i have been waiting for an appointment to have a petscan and still nothing. well today i decided that i would take the bull by the horns and call myself to find out when im going to get it. i cant believe what im about to write, but here goes
I was told that they havent got the funding for my scan so i cant have it yet i have to wait i cant believe that my life has come down to money
My life is not something you can buy over the counter like a tin of beans or a loaf of bread is it, maybe we should all go shopping for our treatment lets go to M&S or ASDA get our chemo from there. what on earth are they doing to me i have loads of PMA (positive mental attitude) but today i want to kick someone so hard
I did tell the person on the other end of the phone that i wasnt happy cant write what i said (loads of naughty words lol) but in the end she said she would make some noise i told her i want my scan within the next week i wish she would have given me the number i would make noise do they not think that this is hard enough without being told your life is worth pounds shillings and pence i am a person with feelings
sorry for the rant but had to tell someone i lost my PMA just for a short time but im getting it back and if anyone has any to spare today please post it to me love and hugs to all my internet family xxxxx

I heard on the news that some scans and x rays, have to use radioactive material, and the usual source is not available at the moment, because the reactors they usually get it from are closed down for maintenance for a few weeks.
It might have nothing to do with it, but it may be a factor in which case, it will be over soon, or even already.
