Cervical Cancer

Less than one minute read time.
My daughter discovered she had cervical cancer three years ago while she was pregnant with her second child. Nothing was done until her baby was born then an attempted was made to remove the tumour, however that failed when she 'bled out' and needed 5 pints of blood. Now after chemo and radiotherapy the doctors have told her that basically they don't know how to treat someone her age, if she takes hormone medication she is in a high risk breast cancer arena as that was my first cancer, and if she doesn't she risks rectal and bowel cancer. They wanted to do a hysterectomy but her womb has shrivelled and is now attached to her bowel so that is risky. My question is, surely there is someone out there of a young age who has gone through this and what treatment etc., did they receive?

I was 28 when I was first diagnosed - I had a full hysterectomy.  Sadly, my cancer has now come back (Aug last year).  I had 2-3 months of chemo and radio therapy and have just had my 6 week scans and will have the results on Thursday next week.
