Hi

Less than one minute read time.
Hi, I am new to this site. I am the carer to my husband who was diagnosed last xmas eve with an unknown primary. He has had 15 rounds of Folfox/Avastin and had a reallt good response, tumor shrank, nodes shrank and liver mets cleared up. Had a scan on Thursday and found it had progressed to lungs and everthing bigger. I am a radiographer so need some fun to escape hospitals! Have found jazzercise and yoga have helped. My very brave hubby has met new friends and is off recoeding music! It would be nice to share thoughts. we have a great oncologist - we are looking at this as a chronic disease - we are going to live with this for a long time. Corinne

Hi buddc, you do have a problem keeping away from hospitals dont you, [you must secretly enjoy it or be masochistic].

I am a lung cancer victim, post surgery [14 months] and living with fingers crossed. I try to have as much fun as possible, have dogs, two grown up kids, 38 and 32, who have a sense of humour more wicked than mine. We stick two fingers up at the cancer, my wife of 40 years being the stronger one of our partnership and 'my rock'. I have black days like all of us on here but when my loony family visit its difficult to stay miserable. They know the score, you cant fool my kids, [they get their brains and good looks from their mother], only god knows what i contributed to them. Ha Ha.

Check out the jokes section on this site, the women who post make me BLUSH !!!!  As a support network, this site is brilliant, as you will find out.
