good news

Less than one minute read time.
This is the first blog I have posted but wanted to............Last month was the first time I had got my blood results since diagnosis. I went into a MRC research trial, no need to bore you with the details. It meant than unless anything really dire had shown up my consultant would not have got the results. Trial finished in September. So October was reality time. Was very twitchy but medics were great. And I was so glad to be described as `completely normal`, in the letter that came. Had to take a deep breath and open the letter! Now is the time when I write my Christmas cards and with it my letter for 2008. As I do it I realise that my friends have also been on a journey with these past 4.5 years. When I read our blogs and journeys time and again I marvel at the fact that we are not alone. To those who are sniffy about the internet I say .............! This site offers so much. So, whatever bit of the journey we are on, let us remember that we are not on it alone. That means so much.

    Good morning,

Thankyou for sharing such great news with us.

Its also lovely to hear from a fellow Cumbrian, there arent many of us around.

I came to live in London 6 years ago but will always be a Cumbiran at heart.

It would be lovely to talk to you if you fancy coming into the chatroom.

    Lots of Love

Hey there - and you're quite right - it IS wonderful to know that we're not alone on our journeys.  I was delighted to read that you  were "completely normal"! That must have been a truly wonderful feeling for you to read those words, and I know I don't have to say, enjoy your life and live it to the full, because you already do that. I am really so pleased for your marvellous news, and thank you for shaing it with us. We need to hear the "uplifting" stories too, as they fill us all with hope. I hope the rest of your journey through life proves obstacle free. Enjoy! with lotsa love          kate xxxxxxxxxxx
