breast cancer

Less than one minute read time.

hi i'm Terri and i am 27 years old. On the 7th of January 2011 i was told that i have grade 2 Breast Cancer in my left breast. I live at home with my partner and 3 children (2 girls and a boy 9,3 and 2yrs) my 3 year old son has just been (on 23rd of september 2010 ) diagnosed with Autism. I do not know anything about cancer and do not know anyone with cancer. It was a huge shock to myself and my whole family.

On the 10th of January i had a miscarriage (which added to the stress of the breast cancer diagnosis was not nice) and i felt like i could not cope. It comes in waves. I knew that i have to stay strong for my partner and children but i just want to know i will come out the other end of this nightmare. I feel that keeping this blog will help me and maybe help someone else

Hi Terri, you have come to the right place for support and friendship during your journey with this dreadful illness.

You have had a lot to cope with recently and it's bound to build up, but don't be afraid to come on here and offload anytime you need to.

I was diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer over 7 years ago and am currently doing well.

It is very scary at the beginning, but I am always here if you want to chat or ask me anything.

Take care and I will see you around, Christine xx
