Hello Bonnielass, I am sorry that you have had to come to this site but you will not regret doing so.

I am not in your situation (my dad has terminal lung cancer) but i am very sure someone will be along soon who will have some helpful advice for you....this site is great for that. I am here though if you just need to chat.

Sending you lots of love and strength.

vicki thank you for your kind words xxxx

  • It is always hard when we first get a diagnosis of cancer - our imaginations work overtime and we conjure up so many scenarios. You are wise to wait for all the results and a definite treatment plan so you know exactly what will happen. Having a plan gives you back some control over the situation.

The forums are a good place to ask questions and it is a good idea to give a good apt title to the forum so that other members know what to expect.

Keep posting, asking questions, and telling us how you are getting along.

    Best wishes,

    KateG

    Good evening bonnielass,

This time last year I was going through chemo and radiotherapy for stage 3 womb cancer and I am still alive and kicking.  If there's anything I can help you with just shout.

    Good luck with your treatment.

    Love and hugs
