The six week induction was over six weeks ago. There was a break for 6 weeks, then a cystoscopy. All looked good except for an inflamed area which needs to have a biopsy. So going through pre-op process with biopsy scheduled for June 24 hopefully. Really hoping biopsy reveals just an inflamed area, not recurrence, and especially not high grade recurrence. Fingers crossed.
I had a strong reaction and a few side effects with BCG, not an easy ride. And the effects lasted for several weeks afterwards. Let’s hope it’s a positive sign, I think it is.
Biopsy was just necrotic tissue , no cancer cells discovered in 6 deep biopsies. Whew. Resumed BCG, now on 3 month maintenance.
