Letting the light in....

1 minute read time.

Well it was November so black was probably the mood. Have left this blog a while as, well I have been busy. Who isn't busy holding down a full time job, caring for someone with cancer and also trying still to live a life.. Just re-scheduled my Le Shuttle bookings from next week to May. Also cancelled my dog's vet appointment in Lucern with a brief word of thanks for all the great memories a Swiss vet enabled us to have together with our crazy Collie Cassie. (Thanks to Brexit and the cancellation of the British Pet Passport we now have a Swiss dog!) I will be back. But we won't. Days are simpler. Time spent together in bed. Short trips here and there. We did have an amazing New Year in Cornwall. There is life after a terminal cancer diagnosis. It is just very different. Boys are amazing too - weekly takeaway evening is now a fixture on Fridays. And saving money somehow seems less important now.. Carpe deum - seize the day. NHS UCLH Macmillan Cancer Centre - there are no words. If Thank you had a million letters in it it would still be too short. Oh and to the lovely German lady who is now a friend who swept me up when my wife was struggling with her first apheresis and I almost fainted in the UCLH lift. Danke schön. You will never know what that cup of coffee meant to me..  Enjoy the pic. New Year's Eve 2025. Land's End Cornwall.  Black (and white) dogs plus lots of lovely colour :-)
