Day One:
Treatment started today. Anti sickness, then Tremodar chemo drug, then mum took her to hospial, then wait around a lot, then have first radiotherapy session.
Apparently it went well. No side effects so far.
The nurses have again changed the angle of treament so hair will now be lost from the front right - not leaving a band of hair as previously suggetsed. Sister thinks this is a good thing though as easier to use pretty scarves accross the front of the head. Tomorrow they will give a more thorough explanation of expected hair loss location-wise.
Was a bit anxious waiting to hear from mum how it had gone, but spoke to her on lunch break and all sounded good. Sister had gone into school after eating all her lunch after the treatment, and last I heard was planning on going to dancing class in the evening too!!
