Bigsisters Littlesister - Party On!

1 minute read time.
First weekend on treatment for Littlesis. No radiotherapy, but each day taken, anti sickness (ondansetron), chemo (temodal), anti-epileptic (phenytoin), and anti-biotic to guard against pneumonia (co trimoxazole)... Shake her and she will definatley rattle at the weeknds!! I was working Saturday and I had a full clinic, so I'm afraid I don't know much about what was going on during the day for sis. We then had friends over for our Eurovision Party, so when I texted mum to ask what she thought of the show I was pleasantly surprised to learn Littlesis was at a party!! It really seems there is no stopping her, which I think is great! Good on her for not allowing herslelf to feel held back. So, after an fun-filled eurovision-singing pizza-eating party at my house, and attendence of a birthday party for littlesis I texted her this morning to find she was watching the recording of eurovision on good old Sky Plus eating her usual snack/late breakfast of a banana muffin - thank goodness she didn't miss it entirely - that would have been awful! They then went to town shopping, but she got a bit tired by 3 ish. Our friends had slept on the lounge floor so we went to the cinema to see Angels and Demons. It was long but very good. I really enjoyed having a bit of a party-gathering with friends, and for a couple of hours the drinks flowed, I laughed out loud and i forgot. It was a shame I had to come back to reality, but it was really lovely to escape for a bit. Most of my friends know about Littlesis, but I havent really given too much information. I've definatly left it very basic and not told many of them the seriousness of the situation - I think because I dont want to upset people unnecessarily, I mean, it's not really like they can help me, they cant make things any better, and I have chosen a select few to really open up to - I'll leave the others to think its all ok. - Ignorance is bliss!
