Bigsisters Littlesister: highlights?!

1 minute read time.
Hello all! Went to see Littlesis yesterday. Mum hadn't told her I was coming just incase, but I arrived in time for lunch! She's doing SO SO well, I am very proud. The Radiotherapy treatment has started taking its toll on her. Shes very sleepy and lethargic now. She sort of flops from one chair to the next, whereas she used to jump about and do little dances while choosing what crisps to have. She's not sad though, just tired. I went to help mum hang out the washing, and sis came into the conservatory and lay down with her eyes closed... very unlike her. We watched a film in the afternoon National Treasure 2,(we watched national treasure 1 last monday). She was almost asleep by the end of the film. We played with the guinee pigs for a bit, and I took some nice pics with my new camera. Sister's bald patches are under the top layer of hair all except one thin strip right from the parting... the lady who does the RT said it looks like she has a couple of highlights!! And it really does! Being a child and having RT has its perks...(ish)... Sis gets to 'make a wish', shes not yet sure what she might like to do, but we think something with dancing... she loves dancing, Irish dance is her fave, but she does ballet and modern too. Bigsister: I have handed in my notice at work today, I have a new position as an optometrist in another optician company. I'm REALLY pleased. It is a more relaxed position in a well organised, qualified team. Should mean I can do my job more effectively, and have no additionnal responsibilties, no less stress.... just what the doctor ordered! My notice period is 3 months so I'll be here for a while yet, but the wheels are in motion! love to all, from a much happier Bigsister. xxx
