They say we are gonna get snow and icy winds again and at the moment its raining can hear the cathedral but cannot see it yet as its only 0700 on wednesday morning.
I got my letter to see the Consultant tomorrow at 15:45 my gf hopes itd good news and to be honest so do I, could do with him saying that they have found the primary cause but i dont want to pre-empt it. If they have found the primary site then the radio therapy will begin after the new year, to the spot where they know it cam from other than that it will be blanket radio therapy of the whole neck and upper torso area, think the exact spot will be more painful than the irradiation of a wider area, been told the wider area radio therapy is of a stronger dose.
Cannot believe that after 2 lots of surgery to remove certain bitts nad perform biopsies, and to have 3 scans ultra sound, CT & Pet scan and they say it reveals nothing i get the feeling that is it really there?????
Have wondered about this scenario for a while now and that is the treatment really necessary if they have not found the primary spot i don't like to be made to go through pain etc IF it is not there and has been removed leaving no trace of it behind, unless they have found something else and are not telling me the whole truth. Will find out tomorrow am not leaving the surgery without any answer unanswered if you get my drift, i need to know the answers to the questions i have in my little red book, and untill they answer them all im not going anywhere and having anything done to me.
I know they are the experts in their field but so is farmer Gyles, its been over 6 months from seeing my GP to having lumps removed to scans etc i know if it was life threatening it would be sorted out quicker but delaying the treatment for probably another few months would it really make a difference especially as they havent found the primary site from where the cancer originated thenk i might need to speak top my Occ Health Physician Friend and see what he thinks about the situation, its wednesday today and payday now that always cheers me up
Take care all and have a good and pain free xmas
