hello everyone will be starting my 30 sessions of radio therapy in the new year went for the mask fitting yesterday and it was weird, very warm on the face but good on such a cold day was a bit like a facial massage with a hot towel wrapped around my face, but the mesh mask was made and will be used for my treatment
Thought it would be claustrophobic but i just had to grin and bear it.
The next planning stage has been set for next thursday at 10:50 up at Lincoln and with a bit of luck my treatments will be as late in the afternoon as possible hoping that i can work while they give me my treatment, as i feel i want to live with this vile disease abnd not have it control me i will need to speak to the dietitian so that if my sore throat becomes a problem then i can sort it out. Have sorted my epilepsy medication and it is available in liquid form so i can still take it even with a sore throat.
Everything seems to be moving along and at a quick pace too
