never had such a short 5 days off, my diabetes is messing me around too dont know what it is but could have had sumat to do with the fact i had a big bowl of bananas and custard when it said on the tin it was low sugar custard but i dont think it was  lol. ah well i'll fight it this week and if needs be put a little more insulin in my already battered body.

Also been reading up on the info with regards to the RT i will be geting that should start arounf the 13 Dec, early xmas prezzy whooppee......... ah well i suppose it has to start sometime  just hop i can cope with it unless my sodding diabetes makes it more complicated than it is already.... tried to burn afew boxes of rubbish at the weekend too as it was bonfire night i decided to have a little one of my own should have checked the boxes before light it as there was a small matter of a bottle of white spirit in one box.... wont be doing that agin in a hurry ......nearly blew the bllody incinerator up when it finally got hold ... n nearly set decking on fire next to the patio... GF not too pleased again lol ...... seems that anything i do i cant please her ........ ah who cares  let her get it out of her system today with all the washing and ironing to keep her busy today while i chauffuer an important VIP at work from the railway station to the company hotel ........ that will make my day driving the big posh flah car arounf to Newatk and Back keep me out of mischief for a couple of hours

    hi biggles,

glad you are keeping so cheerful  during all this. regarding your question on pensions, i have appled for mine and what a drawn out affair it is.its been 4 months since i applied with no information  being supplied; however after letters from me requesting info i got a speedy response after sending  a rather snotty e-mail and will find out in next 10 days whether i can have it.  from what i gatheer there is a tendency for them to drag their feet cos they dont want to pay out large somes of money!!! hope you get yours.

keep well and looking forward to the next top ten

    hugs and kisses     sue    xxx

Hi Biggles, it depends on the type of pension you have. If it is an occupational one where there are trustees, then you have to apply to them, if it is a personal pension you apply to the insurance company.

in cases of serious ill health , you can start to draw the pension early , in terminal cases it is possible to have the whole amount advanced although tax is payable. It shouldn't take that long to sort that , so Baps 4 months with no info is terrible, I hope your snotty email worked

    lots of luck
