only had two doses or as they call em fractions, finding my salivary glands are not working as they should, but was told they would be the first to malfunction, so i am constantly drinking tepid water, didnt really think the lack of spit would bother me ah well hey ho and whoppee dooo.
Another dose sorry fraction was never very good at maths and another 34th of the full dose then more scans and then the results to tell me if i have got rid of this vile disease or not, it makes you wonder that the tests say nothing they cant find anything they put you through agony for 6 to 8 weeks and tell you what they knew all along Your in remission as we cant be sure.
Think its the uncertainty of not being able to control what is inside you, it can be very very very small and will take time to grow and probably years to come to the fore again. So we just have to take what they give you suffer for a few weeks and then go about your normal routine and dont let this disease control you
I think i am very lucky and have had good consultations and treatment, with bits of me being removed ie 2 lumps and a left tonsil, my gf says the cancer is gone and it was in the first of the 2 lumps removed together, hope she is right.
