Stent fitted :-)

Less than one minute read time.
Mum had a stent fitted yesterday morning it went very smoothly, she was in a bit of discomfort but is finding it a bit easier now, still on liquids while it settles tho. We found out the tumour is 8cm long which isnt great but the radiogist said it wasnt awful. He was very kind too he didnt understand why she hasnt been offered more treatment either. He said she should be having Radio at the very least to strink the tumour. So we are still up in the air but he is pleased we are going to the Marden because it seems the cancer unit penolised mum for being in a wheelchair. so lets get this sorted!!!

Hello sorry to hear yet another person has this cancer!!!

I have to say the Stent has truly saved my mum as she was only on liquids before having the stent.

They sedate you and within 10minutes the stent is in. My mum was in pain after having it done but nothing awful.

she eats EVERYTHING now except beef and her weight gain is great!!

Good luck and let me know how it goes xxxx
