getting fed up

have just spent 4 hrs in pre-op, giving blood,mrsa swabs,ecg ,and lots more,and at the end said oh we might not be able to opperate on you fri cos of your tumour ?????.so not only have i lost half a days pay ,sat in a room full of dickeads moaning about how long it takes ,( it did say upto 4 hrs )but might not get my op !

seemed to be more intrested in my tumour than the lump in my groin ,started to get i little p/off to be honest , " how did you know ,when did you first spot the symtoms,what meds ,what test, what what what ????" ahhhh leave me alone.....

then said cant get hold of anethtasist ?(cant spell it )so just go home and we will email you .

    Baz that's not funny after all you have been thru then to tell you no operation. My Hubby had his assessment tuesday

    for his hip replacement operation, thay

    said 2to 3 weeks, but he has to have a

    tooth out so they have now told him he

    has to wait 6weeks after extraction before

    he can have his op. His in unbelievable

    pain, and his getting very distressed, but

    he has to put up with it. Did you not ask

    questions why. Hope you get sorted soon,

    and try not to get worked up, its not good

    for your blood pressure. Hugs to you.

    thanks for that ,yes went all the way thru pre op,and had to see practice nurse/Dr it was then she said that .

    Then  AT 18:45 one of my own Dr's  phoned to see how i am ,really dont think these departments speak to each other as he didnt even know im in surgery on fri,said he was getting in touch with professor McFarlane.(my consultant surgeon).lets see what happens ?

    Bumbling NHS is all i can say left/right hands don't know whats going on, meanwhile you are in the middle of all this & getting stressed out!!

    Hope things work out in the end & someone sees common sense.
