Well it was too good to be true, Today I went out for a couple of hours before going visiting so was about 2 hours later than I would normally go on a Sunday. When I arrived I was asked to wait in the day room as Bert was unwell, It seems he had diarrhoea and vomitting, confusion again along with a high temp unfortunately he woke up vomitting so never made it to the toilet,
He could not remember anything again, thought we had been out on the bus with the nurse, Did not know why he had to go for more x-rays so it was all a bit distressing for him to say the least. Also because I had taken some time to myself I felt so guilty.I know I could not have done anything to stop his temp go up but still I felt guilty. I am there evey night as soon as I finish work and all day at the weekends but the day he needed me I was Christmas shopping.
There is a distinct possibility that he has C- Diff again just waiting for the results to come in
Will update tomorrow
Goodnight
Love Teri
