After yesterday I just don't know what to say. Bert was so close to getting his transplant that his Chemo had been ordered, because of his low blood counts they took another bone marrow aspiration, the one 2 weeks ago told us he was in remission but this one told us he had relapsed again. The outcome was that there can be no transplant. To say we were devastated is an understatement.
We have an appointment tomorrow with Haematology to go over what happens next so I will keep you posted
Love Teri
