Off for 1st appointment with oncologist tomorrow. Feeling very anxious about it. Hopefully feel more at ease once i've met him and finally fire out exactly whats about to be thrown at me.

I totally agree with you i could have pushed mine till after xmas but just said bring it on the sooner its here the sooner its over it has to be done .Had my first chemo last wed still feelin shitty just have to learn to re work how i do things one down seven to go then three weeks of radiotherapy ,its only one xmas, my daughter cannot come home and my son will probably be in bed till dinnertime anyway[as probably will i !!!] my hubby is going to cook so we will just try and have a nice day will miss all the socialising with mates but not risking catching something,.I think i may not look on xmas in tha same way after this it makes you realise what matters and that is not bending yourself in two trying to pack it all in .I have found out who my real mates are and that makes it all the better.Good luck with your chemo keep in touch
I am so pleased it went well and you understand your battle plan! Herceptin is a very clever drug so good for you - and how wonderful we dont have to fight for the right to have it now! Hope you have a brill christmas an yes, bring it on and get fighting!! :o) All the best, Love Jools xxxx
