Aromasin

Less than one minute read time.

I have been taking aromasin since June and the list of my problems just seems to get longer and longer and its only recently that I have thought to look at the side effects of my tablets.  I have had headaches for the last two weeks that I just can not shift, indigestion, bad moods and depression like nothing else.  My family just seem to have had enough of me.  I guess the bad moods have just put them off. I mean I am not blaming all my troubles on tablets as I have been battling cancer for 7 years now and depression is part and parcel of it, but I seemed to be doing fine up until about three weeks ago and now my depression seems all consuming. I know that stopping the tablets is not a good idea but surely quality of life has to come in to the equation somewhere. Any one help me on this subject.

    hi,

There are 2 possiblities as I see it:

    1. It might be a side effect that will go away as you get used to the tablet.

    2. It won't go away until you do something about it.

I'm struggling now with depression. At first I blamed the Taxol which I started with 2 months ago, then I blamed winter and less daylight I get to see as I spend most of daylight hours at work or at hospital.
But now I just think I need to find a solution - either chemical (more meds :-) ) or find out what in my life is making me depressed (other than cancer which obviously I'm doing what I can in order to fix).

I hope us both will find a solution for it soon.

All the best to you xx
