Hello, I joined the Bilcap Trial August 2009, After an extended Liver resection for cholangio carcinoma as you know all ones personal details regarding your illness are fed into to a computer and that decides the outcome of your follow up treatment, my treatment was 3 monthly follow up and 6 monthly scans, until recently when things changed.
What type of treatment did the trial put you on? And how are you?
Hi all. Not sure if this an old link here, it's my first ever post to ANYTHING. I, too, had liver resection after diagnosed with bile duct cancer. Had the operation on August 27th this year. Have been invited onto the Bilcap Trial and will find out next week which group I will be on. Will update when know more. So I would love to know how the trial is going.
