  • Hi Anthony

Welcome to the forum although I realise you’d rather not be here, but you’ve come to the right place for info, advice and support.  When you say you’ve had an invasive biopsy followed by steroid treatment, is this prior to your treatment plan, as the usual treatment for oesophageal cancer involves chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy and surgery if possible?  Anyway Anthony, why don’t you come and join us in the Gullet (oesophageal group) where you’ll get lots of support and hopefully we’ll be able to answer some of your questions.  There are both patients and carers there at various stages of treatments. You’ll find the list of groups down the left hand side of this page.  Hope to talk with you again soon.

    Best wishes

    Crystal
