Tomorrow Mick (hubby) starts his "pallative" chemo. We are so unsure what to expect regards side effects, but then so is everyone in this position. I know he is concerned because the information given says that it can cause breathlessness - when he is so breathless to start with. He is also keeping a lot to himself, I know he doesn't want to worry me, but it still doesn't stop me having sleepless nights.
The weather isn't helping - it rained all day yesterday so we were virtually housebound. Today hasn't been much better but Mick's been determined to get out and we managed to walk all the way around the local tarn - thankfully there are lots of resting places, although we did get strange looks from people who kept seeing us sitting on various benches :-).
We are going out for a meal tonight which I'm sure we'll enjoy.
