I just wanted to share my great news with you all. I have been to the consultant today and found out that everything is okay. The mass he found is just inflamed tissue which should heal itself in time! Even he seemed completely gobsmacked! So have gone from thinking I was going to die soon to planning our holiday, cannot believe it!
Just goes to show that even when things look really bleak there is aways a glimmer of hope (my very positive hubby's words).
I want to say thank you to everyone for your messages of support which got me through a very difficult week.
I have to go back in 3 weeks for a check up but all looks good so far - in fact his exact words were "as good as it gets!"
So I am sending my positive vibes and best wishes to all of you out there and hope you all have a great weekend - I know I will!!

Hi KAzzabart - What fantastic news mate - thankyou for sharing - it really is great to hear someone has beaten it or that a mistake has been made in thier favour - you going to stay and support your new mates maybe - a scare involves just as much stress as we have been through ? Learn from it maybe and live every day to the max ?
Whilst I know it's not over yet, I feel like I can beat this now! I found this board so helpful and everyone so supportive and friendly. I feel incredibly lucky right now and have learned that I took a lot of things for granted in my life. From now on I am going to enjoy my family and friends and remember every day how easily it can all be snatched away!
I will certainly continue to log on and be happy to offer my support to anyone who needs it, it got me through some very dark times!
