I had my first PSA blood test last week then a chat with the consultant this week. The PSA level was below 0.01 which they class as not detectable, all good news. I have to have a blood test every 3 months for the next two years.
The biopsy of the parts they took out revealed my cancer was T3B, infecting my seminal vesicle my initial diagnosis was T2.
Incontinence remains a problem, the consultant said 85% of people recover in the first year. On the erection side, my local GP has supplied me with Sildenfil which I have yet to try. Not a lot else to say really, just a question of staying positive.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
