Thoughts from the frontline - 94

1 minute read time.

It was a week ago tomorrow that I got my all clear from the 6 months post op ct scan and I'm still on a high!

The weekend had way too much alcohol and was busy busy busy with friends and wedding things. I even found the suit, shirt and shoes for the wedding in just over the hour on the Sunday morning! Saturday had been beer tasting and then Sunday evening was wine tasting...hic :-)

I just didn't want to work on Monday but I had to, lucky for me I was in the office so the hangover wasn't too much of a problem. Tuesday I was up in Nuneaton for a morning meeting followed by a quick trip to Monmouth for another - made it a long day but it was all good and positive.

Wednesday was a bit more gentle with the day spent in Milton Keynes which went very well indeed and has fab potential to be just great! I even found a Hawes & Curtis shirt shop there - magic! I even had time to take a look in detail at the Xscape set up there - interesting.....

But I'm now back in the office today and designing away on Brentwood, Felixstowe and Ebbw Vale. I'm very lucky, I love my job and I'm free enough to go to hospital and doctor appointments when needed. Tomorrow will be busy with meetings in Uxbridge, Brentwood and at South Mimms Services on the M25 - oh I am such a global traveller lol :-)

Going to kick leaves and jump in puddles at the weekend...

    Hey Andrew,

So you're gonna be in "my neck of the woods" tomorrow.  Brentwood is a mere stones throw away.  I will be in Romford tomorrow getting my results so send some good vibes!!!!!!!!

Aren't the puddles a bit frozen? ! Maybe they've stashed some muddy ones, in one of those far flung corners of the nation you're visiting, just for you.

I echo you sentiments though, life is to lived to the full,

    have fun splashing ...or...skating!
