Thoughts from the frontline - 90 - 90? did that say 90? wow!

2 minute read time.

Hi folks, me again :-)

And yet another few days of self inflicted madness since I blogged here last Thursday.

Went over to Ascot to a jazz club there on Thursday evening to see my mate Ben Waters play. He was fab as usual and I think that Peter (T's boss) and Molly loved it too. They were clapping their hands and singing along so I hope they liked it! Food there was good, I had pasta and meatballs with real tinned tomatoes :-)

Friday had to start with a trip to Oxford to be interviewed at the Registry Office ready for our wedding in April. Traffic was dreadful and we arrived 25 mins late for our appointment but they still saw us thankfully. All very serious now with individual interviews to make sure you have actually met your intended before! We must have passed the exams as they have now confirmed that they will marry us. (T did admit that she couldn't remember my birthday date!!!) We then scooted back to work and I had to drive like mad to get to a meeting in Croydon for lunchtime.

Friday evening was spent at a friends house eating good food, drinking good wine and chatting the night away. A perfect end to a Friday...

Saturday it rained. And rained. And rained. And then at about 2pm the grandkids arrived. We were looking after them for the weekend whilst their parents went to London with my ex and her other half to see Billy Collonny in concert. As soon as we had gotten rid of the parents we were off to see young William aged one and a half who has a starring role at our wedding. And yes we saw his parents too :-) The girls loved young William and they just played fab all afternoon and then had tea together,

Back home, last bit of CBeebies then bed for the little ones. Ahh peace!

Sunday and I take the girls to the park whilst T does some wedding dress making. When I get back son Phil, (aka uncle billip) is there with Becca and are amusing the little ones. Half an hour later T's mum comes for a fitting of their bridemaid's dresses. Picnic lunch on the living room carpet and the parents arrive to take them home.

Peace!

Kim arrives and we make badges for the rest of the afternoon and talk wedding arrangements into the evening.

For the first time since Thursday evening we are  now on our own again. Time to sleep me thinks! Roll on work on Monday for a rest!

Andrew was the spelling of Billy Collonny correct - is he a comedian I haven't heard of or are we talking The Big Yin (I love him).

Oh my cbeebies, thats a blast from the not too distant past for me.....glad they are behind me now too LOL

I remember all the wedding preps we had to do (we organised our own as we were already living together) it was fun but stressful, especially as Tony's contributions were mostly via the wallet and just approving anything I suggested LOL

    Not long now..........
