Thoughts from the frontline - 69

1 minute read time.

Friday was going to be another busy day and it started off by having to get to the old office for 9am so that we could remove the final things (phone system and server) before meeting the landlord. He had asked us to remove all the phone and data cabling which I though was mad so I was going to try and get him to change his mind as it would be a so useful for the new tenants.

But it was not to be. I tried the charm, I tried logic and I even tried the "what a waste" angle but the man was not for turning. Shame, so I called up my friend Mark and arrange for him to go over at the weekend and take it all out and give the walls a touch up of the paintwork.

And then it was back to the new office to continue the great sort out. Not having the phones connected until next Tuesday sure did make the office nice and quiet and we were able to get a lot done. However I did need to keep popping out to the tip to get rid of rubbish and popping home to do my emails. And suddenly it was half way through the afternoon and I had to go home again to take one of the cats back to the vets for a final check up.

All ok at the vets but he will need another few days of antibiotics - my, these cats are expensive!

Cat sorted I then waited for T to come home and we were off to Ikea to pick up the final things for the studio. Not in stock at Wembley so we had to go up to Milton Keynes. A result! The place was empty compared with Wembley and no long queues at the checkout. We will go there in the future me thinks.

We managed to squeeze the sofa and the storage unit into the car and were home by about 10pm so not too late a night but I was knackered. Good job I could have a lazy start to Saturday.... Oh no, I couldn't do that, I had to take Mark over to the old office at 8am on Saturday morning. :-)

Life sure is busy but I"M LOVING IT!!!!
