Thoughts from the frontline - 45 - Second attempt!!!!

1 minute read time.

Sometimes life is cruel...

This is my second attempt at writing my blog this morning. I had just finished version number 1 when I must had pressed the wrong key and it all went missing!!! Tried looking everywhere and it's gone. Nowhere to be seen. Now stolen prose destined never to be read by man nor beast. And it was my best blog ever, full of fun, pathos, sadness, whit, eloquence and just brilliant writing! Well, I liked it!

Now, do I try and repeat it or should I just start again and see what happens?

You could all make it up for me if you want... PM me your suggestions for a paragraph and I could stitch them together into some elegant prose perhaps?

We could title it "Thoughts from all the frontlines". Or I could just stop moaning and try and write it again...

Here goes but I'm going to give you the shortened version :-)

Went to have a meeting for work. Took taxi. Cost way too much. Had meeting with client and three of my team, was good. Got lift back home and we had spot of lunch in local village cafe. Did not a lot in afternoon. T came home, we made lovely tea of veggie sausage casserole (T made most, I did sweet potato and spud mash) Great autumn comfort food.

Watched TV, went to bed.

Also I've been Mr Niggly recently, must be worry or just grumpy old me. Whatever, sorry to anyone I've snapped at :-)

But I'm sure I can be Mr Badmood with this computer, how dare it loose my first blog!

Live long and smile

Oh I remember how my blogs used to disappear from the old What Now site....now I copy everything before I hit send......just in case I get "page cannot be displayed" or any other stupid error......much easier to control v and have it reappear than pull my hair out and curse (sweetly of course).

Are you and T both vegetarians? Have you always been or is this to benefit your fight..just wondering....I have cut red meat out almost completely (can't deny the occasional hankering for Roast Beef or steak when out dining) and eat mostly turkey...but eat a lot of pure vegetable dishes and enjoy them - who would have thought after being raised on a diet of meat, potato & two veg (always fresh and mostly home grown)!!!!!!!!  I seem to be rambling......ok got distracted reading the blogs, gotta finish putting my shopping away and have a cuppa tea!

Hope Mr. Niggly turns into Mr. Giggly today :)

Hi there, great idea about a simple copy before hitting the send key!

T and I are sort of vegans that eat lots of fish and the occasional chicken (organic) and it's all to help the fight. Used to love meat but I don't miss it much at all. Main change in the diet is that we have cut out all processed food if we can and try to make everything from the basic ingredients. Tis lucky that we both love cooking :-)

This new diet is brilliant though - has massively improved my blood sugar level control (am diabetic) and now insulin need reduced by close to 80% and my bloods are almost always spot on as they say! Generally keeping us both a bit more healthy so it can't hurt can it? :-)
