Unfortunately these 'creeps' will keep popping up from time to time, what worries me is that genuine members of this site are accepting friends requests from someone that they have never spoken to without checking the persons profile first. I agree that some of these scammers are extremely clever and can fool us for a while, but this persons profile was blatantly obvious that it was a con, they had only joined the site the day before, made no posts, there was no mention of cancer and the biography stated that they were looking for a loyal partner, however, when I checked the profile at about 11.30am Wednesday this person had already accumulated 7 friends.
We have to accept that these morons will keep trying, so to protect ourselves we need to be vigilant and check the profile of any friends request received, any genuine member would not object to their profile being read.
This sad specimen of a human being didn't bother me at all, but I am concerned for the more vulnerable members of this site that could be really upset by this sort of thing.
I think I have just found another one - Vivan00 - same profile as this Susan mentioned - I have reported it - that was after I was stupid enough to accept the friends link (no worries I will delete it) Please folks just be aware.
