    Hi Alan

I had a 5th birthday party five years after I was diagnosed with BC.

It was fantastic - Loads of people came, we had a pig roast and a female impersonator who was brilliant and a disco.

I left disposable cameras round the hall, and asked people to take photos and leave them behind, I had a guest book so I can look back at who came and we ran a tombola, everyone brought something for the tombola and we raised over £300 for cancer research.

Mind you, little did I know then that I would be back on the cancer trail again 12 years later - MCL this time and unrelated, but at least I get to have another party!!

    Happy Birthday Alan
