Hi, I have been operated on for adrenal cancer at Kings College. It seems like mine was stage 2. They took the gland, tumour and lymph glands out, and nothing seems to have spread outside. The cancer gave me Cushings Syndrome, which my GP refused to believe for 18 months, even though I had all the symptoms.
I am now at home with a broken ankle due to a fall I had and the fact that the Cushings has given me brittle bones.
To add to that I already had Multiple Sclerosis, which I have had to deal with for eight years!
I now have to have mitotane chemotherapy. Does anyone have experience of this?
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks.
