As you know, we’ll be relaunching the site on Monday September 19. As part of our goal to improve and develop the site, we’ve been undertaking an audit of all the content on the site, including groups.
Sometimes groups have been created for a specific event such as London Marathon 2008. Since people aren't joining or contributing to these groups any more, but might still need to see the content that's there, we'll be archiving them.
The purpose of this exercise is to make the community an easier place to navigate, and to make it more straight-forward for new and existing members to find the groups they need.
If you strongly disagree with any of our decisions, please let us know by adding your comments to the forum of that group. Or, you can email us at community@macmillan.org.uk. The deadline for any feedback is Friday 19th August
