Well after being told that Mum's tumour had grown and was infiltrating the liver wall, we have now been told that it looks like abcesses and that the liver resection will go ahead as planned.
Mum is going into hospital on Monday to have the blood supply to the right hand side of her liver stopped which will then regenerate the left hand side to allow the major op in August. She has been told to go on the planned family holiday to Portugal on 20th July.... a bit worried but obviously great news to be able to spend some family time together.
