D has been pestering me for a while now to choose my favourite song for a family project he is working on. So he was very pleased when I told him I'd finally made my selection and I was going to do a blog post about it this morning.
What he doesn't realise is that I'm in a mischievous mood this morning so he is going to have to solve a few clues.
The song was written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. It reached the Top 40 in 1965. The singer was born in 1936 in Harlem, New York. He was also a session singer, pianist, guitarist, drummer, songwriter, record producer and writer of advertising jingles. His life was tragically cut short at the age of 36.
Well D, I think that's enough clues until next time. And no I don't know when that might be, I'm a bit busy at the moment....
