Some of my family have been selecting their favourite song to go onto a CD for a forthcoming get-together. So I’m going to let you have a little peek at the results. And before anyone asks, no I haven’t picked one, I am finding it an impossible task. My regular readers know D, he’s finally managed to choose and his selection is included. I’m not going to tell you which one it is at the moment. We’ve just been having a discussion about the best way to choose your favourite song, which is going to be the subject of a future post, so you’ll have to wait and see!
“My Favourite Melodies” by Craig Douglas
“Walk Away From Love” by David Ruffin
“If Ever I Would Leave You” by David Whitfield
“I Remember You” by Frank Ifield
“Tell Me What He Said” by Helen Shapiro
“The Colour Of My Love” by Jefferson
“The Impossible Dream” by Jim Nabors
“Alone Again Or” by Love
“If I Loved You” by Mario Lanza
“Forget Me Not” By Martha Reeves & The Vandellas
“Bless You” by Tony Orlando
“I’ve Got You On My Mind” by White Plains
I planned to do something similar for my next post by introducing you to the wonderful ladies who provide assistance with the blog, the ones I call “The David Girls”. However a small problem arose when I asked them for their favourite songs – most of them chose the same one! So they have been asked to repeat the exercise without selecting a song by David Cassidy. I am very curious to see what they come up with…..
