Following on from the last post, these are the results of what happens when you ask 12 ladies to pick their favourite song without selecting one by David Cassidy. You may notice that a certain person managed to sneak one in. However she is perfectly correct. David may be singing, but the single is credited to The Partridge Family, so no rules have been broken! Anyway we couldn’t really leave him out could we? Interesting choices ladies! Some I was anticipating, but a few were quite a surprise….
“The Dean & I” by 10cc
“Somewhere In The Night” by Barry Manilow
“Badge” by Cream
“Born To Run” by Bruce Springsteen
“Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd
“Ask The Lonely” by The Four Tops
“More Than A Woman” by Tavares
“It’s One Of Those Nights” by The Partridge Family
“Mr Blue Sky” by E.L.O.
“Time Will Pass You By” by Tobi Legend
“Have I Told You Lately” by Van Morrison
“Leave Right Now” by Will Young
What I did notice was that the majority of the girls selected a track from a similar era. So what do my readers think? Was this a better time for music? Or do we tend to prefer songs which remind us of our youth?
